I got into illustration so that I could draw all day and get paid for it. It's a good dream and like most things the dream and the reality are a smidge different. Sure I get to draw for a living but not everything I'm asked to do is exactly what I want to draw on that particular day.

That was not the case with this series of Look & Listen ads I finished for Mick + Nick last week. So thanks to Art Director Nikki Taylor, for a few days, i got to draw crazy characters with cheese for heads, octopi and deformed cartoons... and I get paid.

Sometimes my job is better than yours.
